Our examination protocol and treatment regime is specifically tailored to symptoms of WHIPLASH ASSOCIATED DISORDERS.

Effective management of whiplash associated disorders (which not only include neck pain but mid and low back pain as well) requires a multi-disciplinary approach. Rounding out the primary approaches are chiropractic, massage therapy and rehabilitative exercise therapy.

We utilize two different forms of chiropractic, one being the traditional manual "hands on" approach, the other using low force instrument adjustments. Chiropractic primarily addresses the spine and the nervous system. Registered massage therapy addresses the muscular system. Last but not least, rehabilitation exercise therapy aims to restore the co-ordinated function of the musculo-skeletal system in general, while the spine, nervous system and muscles are being addressed.

Q:	Do I need a referral from my insurance company or medical doctor to attend the Auto Injury Treatment Centre?
A:	No. This is a primary care facility. However, if you have commenced care with another practitioner first, you will have to inform your insurance company of your intentions.
Q:	If I undergo care, will my insurance rates increase?
A:	No. Your rates will not increase as a result of an injury claim only.
Q:	How much will care cost?
A:	Under the present legislation, there is no net out-of-pocket expense for care.
Q:	I was involved in an accident, and had a little stiffness the next day, is it worthwile to undergo care?
A:	Maybe. In a number of instances there is a delayed onset of symptoms that can take weeks to show up after a seemingly innocent fender-bender. A thorough examination will help to clarify a need for care or not. If there is any injury that should not be taken lightly it is the WHIPLASH ASSOCIATED DISORDERS. Due to the unique stress and curvature placed on the spine at the point of impact, resultant chronic problems are not uncommon.
