Massage Therapy
In a clinical setting massage therapy is designed to assist in the treatment of
injuries or nagging problems such as neck pain, headaches/migraines
and low back pain.
Therapeutic Massage
Most individuals who present themselves with one of these
complaints will benefit from a half hour treatment to
concentrate on that specific area of the body.
During this time the entire back will be
massaged with more emphasis put on the affected site using
specific therapeutic techniques. A full hour massage may
be required for injuries that are wider spread with the
individual experiencing more than one problem at the same
time.
Relaxation/Stress Relief Massage
One hour massages are commonly requested for relaxation
purposes and the legs, hands and feet will be included in the massage.
How Early Should I Arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment in order to
prepare for your massage. Arriving late will deprive you of
precious minutes of your treatment. Unfortunately, no matter how
late you start, your treatment will end on time so the next client
will not be delayed.
Will I Have To Undress?
The degree to which you undress is dependent on the
treatment. Your privacy will be protected at all times: our
therapist is trained to drape towels or sheets discreetly over
areas of the body not involved in the treatment.
Is Massage Therapy Covered by Insurance?
Our masssages are done by a registered massage therapist and may be
covered by your health plan. Ask your plan administrator for details.
