Dr. Joseph LawrenceClinic DirectorDr. Joseph Lawrence was born in Ottawa, Ontario and attended the University of Toronto where he obtained his Bachelor of Science. After graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Dr. Lawrence began practice in Ottawa; first as an associate, then in a partnership. In 1994, Dr. Lawrence established what is now the Pain Relief and Better Health Centre.Throughout his career, Dr. Lawrence's extensive post-graduate training has resulted in certification in spinal rehabilitation, surface electromyography, computerized gait analysis, TMJ management and low force chiropractic techniques. Dr. Lawrence's strong conviction in the potential of chiropractic brought him to Panama in 1995 on a chiropractic mission.
"At that time Panama had one chiropractor for the entire country. Needless to say the citizens did not have any exposure to chiropractic. Nevertheless, our days were filled with long lines of people that grew larger day after day when successful results spread by word of mouth." A member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations, Dr. Lawrence enjoys the pursuits of cross-country and water skiing, road and mountain biking and canoeing. |
